Come with me and i’ll show you my favourite parts of the college and a glimpse at everyday life here at st Ursula’s.

First, stop is our college reception and student services you’ll be greeted by friendly and welcoming faces right from the start here and trust me, our admin staff can be absolute life. Savers, one of the best things about senior scholars, is the community we’ve built i’ve made. So many friends from all different years and my classmates in year 12 have become a huge part of my life. Here are some of them now hey, say hi. The campus is really beautiful.

I love walking around and taking it all in. There are plenty of green spaces and outdoor areas to enjoy. Our piazza is the social hub of the college, where we gather for our assemblies and relax during breaks, and it’s a great place to gather with friends. My favourite area has to be the chapel garden, which is also the year 12 garden, where we get to spend time together at lunch and recess a special spot is our indigenous garden, featuring a yearning circle and meeting place. So what’s the significance of the indigenous garden?

Well, this is a yearningSt Ursula’s circle. We use it to come together as one and recognise culture. Sport is a big part of my life at St Ursula’s, along with many other students. We know it’s important to have a well-rounded education and part of that is being able to take part in a variety of sport activities. For me, it’s volleyball here are some girls playing now, let’s go join them.

There are different sports to play throughout the year, such as volleyball cricket, swimming dance, gymnastics, afl and basketball. Also, there are lots of opportunities to represent the college at competitions competing against other schools and teams. It’S a great way to push yourself to grow and learn. St Ursula’s offers great sport facilities like our fantastic new outdoor gym and our court facilities, where we enjoy games of tennis, soccer, volleyball, netball, basketball and lots of other sports. Our library and resource centre is such a great space for learning and study.

There are lots of books to borrow St Ursula’s fiction, nonfiction and resources to assist with study. I love coming here to study it’s bright, vibrant and, most importantly, quiet. You can find a nice comfortable spot and get to work, or you can use one of the meeting rooms for group study sessions or to discuss collaborative projects and when it comes to recess and lunch. Our newly updated canteen has plenty of tasty food so that students have the fuel needed to focus and succeed. Our teachers at sinusalis are such a great help.

They really nurture our passions and empower each individual student to shine. There are so many exciting subjects to study at Saint Ursula’s, catholic studies, english, mathematics, science, history, pdhp, business studies, economics and geography are just some of the engaging subjects we enjoy. My favourite subjects are pdhbe and legal studies. Students are also able to focus on their studies on areas of interest as they work towards building the knowledge they need to succeed and make a difference in the world. We’Re also lucky that we get to learn all of this in fantastic facilities with new equipment and technology at our disposal, not to mention the co-curricular activities.

We can join like debating public speaking sea eco club science club, a chess club and a gardening club who help grow delicious produce for our food technology, students to use in their cooking. We celebrate creativity at st Ursula’s with performing arts, visual arts and textiles and design. All available for students to study when it comes to music, There are so many opportunities for study and extracurricular participation in performing ensembles and bands. Drama is another popular subject, and the stage in our auditorium is often set for entertaining classic and modern plays that wow the audience we even have a tv production studio space for Those interested in working in the entertainment industry as a possible career.

Our college is built on the values of the gospel and we are guided by the teachings of the Ursuline tradition founded by saint Angela morichi. We observe our faith in many ways at St Ursula’s, including weekly services in our chapel and regular masses. At our lady of Fatima parish, It is such a special experience to join together with my friends, schoolmates and the staff at the college to acknowledge our shared faith and celebrate that which unites us.
